Saturday, October 19 @10:30 AM – MAPA Hosts Crocktoberfest at Dopp’s Bar
Join us at Dopp’s Bar, 1753 S. 68th Street, West Allis for a MAPA Social. Create your favorite Crockoction (soup, stew or whatever) and bring it in your crockpot to share while we cheer on the Wisconsin Badgers. MAPA will provide condiments and serving supplies. Cash Bar. Please bring your own serving utensil. 10:30am set up, 11:00am Kick-off. Thank you to Tammy Dopp for hosting us!
Sunday, December 1 @11:00 AM – MAPA “Basket Making” Event
We are gathering donated items to build our silent auction baskets for the Holiday Luau. If you have some goodies to contribute or some creative talent, stop by the Perkins Place to help us assemble alluring baskets for our December Fundraiser. The Packer Game (noon kickoff) will be on. Food and beverages will be provided. More details later.
Saturday, December 14 @5:00 PM – MAPA’s Annual Toys for Tots Holiday Luau
This is our most important event of the year and our largest fundraiser. Plan to attend! This year, we’ll have a presentation by the USO, who will be the beneficiary of the proceeds. As usual, the toys will go to the Fox Company Marines Toys for Tots program for needy children in local families. We’ll have silent auctions, raffles, and other great opportunities to win prizes. Dinner Buffet included! The Boat Drunks will rock the place with the best Buffett and cover tunes in the Midwest. And, drum roll . . . Singer / Songwriter / Sportswriter extraordinaire, Jim Hoehn, will make an appearance to share his skillful storytelling and songs. See attached flyer for details. Make your table reservation now! The 28th Annual Meeting of the Minds - Key West, FL. The Meeting of Minds is a Key West event that celebrates the music of Jimmy Buffett. Every fall, Parrot Heads from all over come to Key West for a week of dancing, parties, and island pirate celebrations.
